Zamzani Abdul Wahab, better known as Chef Zam, was born on April 19, 1970 in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. Growing up in a bustling household, Zam was introduced to the world of cooking at a young age by his mother. He discovered his passion for creating delicious dishes when he first started experimenting in the kitchen at the tender age of seven.
As he grew older, Zam's interest in culinary arts continued to flourish. After completing his secondary education, he made the decision to pursue a formal education in cuisine. In 1993, Zam graduated with a degree in cuisine from the prestigious Universiti Teknologi Mara, setting the stage for his culinary career.

He landed his first job as a chef at a renowned hotel, where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience in the kitchen. Eager to further his knowledge, Zam pursued a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from Wales University, expanding his expertise in hospitality and culinary arts.
With a strong foundation in place, Zam set his sights on international opportunities. He ventured to New York, where he worked in various establishments, refining his techniques and establishing a name for himself in the competitive culinary scene.
Zam's culinary talents caught the attention of television producers, leading to his foray into the world of celebrity chefdom. He became a household name in Malaysia through his appearances on popular cooking shows such as Garam Gula, Citarasa Selebriti, and Ole-ole Malaysia. His charismatic personality and expert culinary skills endeared him to audiences nationwide.

He held the esteemed position of Head of Special Projects at KDU College's School of Hospitality, Tourism, and Culinary Arts in Selangor, Malaysia, where he shared his wealth of knowledge and experience with aspiring chefs.
Zam's commitment to excellence and passion for the culinary arts have not gone unnoticed. In 2003, he was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master's degree in Hospitality Management from Thames Valley University in London, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
