Yuke Sampurna was born on June 19, 1968 in Bandung, Indonesia. As a young child, he showed a strong interest in music and began playing the drums at a very early age. However, it wasn't until later in his life that he discovered his true passion for the bass guitar.
Yuke's musical journey began when he joined the band Dewa 19 as their bass guitarist. He quickly gained recognition for his talent and was soon sought after by other bands such as The Groove and Yovie & Nuno. In 2013, Yuke decided to step out on his own and form his own band, DOM PROJECT.
One of the highlights of Yuke's career was the release of his single "Celebrity" with DOM PROJECT. The song received a positive response from fans and critics alike, further solidifying Yuke's position as a respected bass guitarist in the industry.
Yuke Sampurna married Namara Surtikanti in 2002, and the couple welcomed their first child in early 2003. Despite his busy schedule as a musician, Yuke always makes time for his family and considers them his biggest source of inspiration and support.
