Yasuha was born on January 17, 1961, in Taitō, Tokyo, Japan. She is the daughter of Japanese comedian Hayashiya Sanpei Ⅰ and novelist Ebina Kayoko. Growing up in a family with a strong entertainment background, Yasuha was exposed to the world of performance arts from a young age. Her sister, Midori Ebina, even pursued a career as an actress. Yasuha's two brothers, Hayashiya Shōzō IX and Hayashiya Sanpei II, followed in their father's footsteps and became comedians.
