At the time of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, he had only recently started working at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. On that fateful day, Will Jimeno found himself trapped in rubble after the collapse of the World Trade Center towers. For more than half a day, he fought for survival, pinned beneath debris and unable to move. After a grueling rescue operation, Will Jimeno was miraculously pulled from the rubble, alive but severely injured.
