Wesley Carroll, born on September 18, 1988 in Orange, California, began his journey towards becoming a standout football player at a young age. He attended Cooperstown Central School in Cooperstown, New York from grades 3 to 8, where he first honed his skills on the football field.
Carroll's family later relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2003, where he enrolled at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. It was here that Carroll's talent on the gridiron began to shine, setting the stage for his future success in the sport.
After high school, Carroll made the decision to further his football career at Florida International University. He played quarterback for the FIU Panthers during his junior and senior seasons, showcasing his skills and leadership on the field.
Before transferring to FIU, Carroll spent time at Mississippi State University, where he made a name for himself by throwing 137 consecutive passes without an interception. This impressive feat solidified his reputation as a talented quarterback.
