Her talent and dedication to her craft have led her to perform as a soloist with prestigious orchestras such as the Wisconsin, Vermont, and Houston orchestras, as well as at iconic venues like New York City's Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, and Avery Fisher Hall.
From a young age, Viviana had a passion for music. By the age of 15, she was already performing on television as a soloist with an orchestra. Originally intending to pursue a career in medicine, Viviana attended Rice University but eventually followed her true calling and switched to the Juilliard School to major in the flute.
Viviana's exceptional talent has garnered her multiple awards for her flute performances. She has taken home first place at prestigious competitions such as the New York Flute Club Competition and the Five Towns Music and Arts Foundation Competition. In addition, she received the esteemed Lincoln Center Scholarship, solidifying her status as a standout in the world of flute music.
Although born in Concepcion, Chile, Viviana moved to San Francisco, California at a young age and was raised there. Her diverse background and experiences have enriched her music and performances, adding depth and soul to her artistry.
Viviana has had the privilege of studying under the tutelage of renowned professional flute player James Galway. His mentorship has greatly influenced her style and technique, shaping her into the exceptional artist she is today.
