Vilmarie Mojica was born on August 13, 1985 in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. From a young age, she showed a passion for sports and began playing volleyball at the age of 8 in the ARSEL league in Levittown, New York. It was clear early on that she had a natural talent for the sport, and she quickly became a standout player in her community.
As Vilmarie continued to hone her skills on the volleyball court, she caught the attention of scouts and coaches who recognized her potential. She began to compete at higher levels, eventually earning a spot on the Puerto Rican women's national volleyball team. Outside of her volleyball career, Vilmarie is a loving mother and wife. She has two brothers named Alex and Yeimily, who have always been supportive of her athletic endeavors. In February 2018, Vilmarie welcomed a daughter named Valeria with her husband, Tommy Ramos. Despite the demands of her professional career, Vilmarie always makes time for her family and values their unwavering support.
