Tyre Phillips was born on January 29, 1997, in Grenada, Mississippi. He grew up in the Grenada area with his family, where he developed a passion for football at a young age. As a standout player in high school, Phillips caught the attention of college scouts and ultimately made the decision to further his education and athletic career at East Mississippi Community College.
During his time at East Mississippi Community College, Phillips made a name for himself as a dominant force on the offensive line. His talent and hard work paid off when he transferred to Mississippi State University in 2017, where he continued to excel on the football field.
In the 2020 NFL Draft, Tyre Phillips was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round. He made his official NFL debut in week one of the regular season, facing off against the Cleveland Browns. Throughout his rookie season, Phillips demonstrated his skills and versatility by playing in twelve games for the Ravens.
Despite being released by the Baltimore Ravens, Phillips did not let this setback deter him. In September 2022, he signed a contract with the New York Giants, where he joined forces with quarterback Daniel Jones for the 2022-23 NFL season.
Outside of football, Tyre Phillips enjoys spending time with his family and loved ones. In March 2023, he took his relationship to the next level by getting engaged. Phillips is known for his strong work ethic, dedication to the sport, and commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
