Tomomi Ogawa, best known simply as Tomomi, was born on May 31, 1990 in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. She grew up in a musical family, with a love for singing and performing from a young age. Tomomi attended school in Osaka, where she first discovered her passion for rock music.
In 2006, Tomomi joined forces with three other high school girls – Haruna Ono, Mami Sasazaki, and Rina Suzuki – to form the all-girl rock band SCANDAL. Together, they embarked on a musical journey that would soon lead them to dizzying heights of success in the Japanese music industry.
