Tariq Castro-Fields was born on January 14, 1999 in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Raised by his mother, Erlinda, in the Upper Marlboro area, Tariq grew up with a strong work ethic and a passion for sports.
While attending Riverdale Baptist High School, Tariq excelled as a two-sport athlete, competing in both football and track. His dedication and talent on the field caught the attention of college recruiters, leading to a scholarship offer from Penn State University.
