Steven Spence was born on March 20, 1988, in the United States. He grew up in the Miami area and was exposed to music at a young age. His uncle, who was a former keyboardist for The Wailers, taught him how to play the keyboard. This early exposure to music had a profound impact on Steven and set him on the path to becoming a musician.
In 2007, Steven joined the metal band Black Tide while he was a freshman at Florida State University. He quickly became an integral part of the band, showcasing his skills as a DJ, drummer, and keyboardist. Steven's talent and energy on stage helped Black Tide gain popularity in the metal music scene.
After five years with Black Tide, Steven made the decision to leave the band in 2012 to pursue a solo career. He shifted his focus to producing electronic music, a genre that allowed him to explore new sounds and showcase his versatility as a musician. Steven's departure from Black Tide marked a new chapter in his musical journey.
Since leaving Black Tide, Steven has worked with various bands and artists, including The Mowgli's and Kalin and Myles. He has also collaborated with fellow DJ Clinton Sparks on songwriting projects. Steven's solo career has allowed him to experiment with different musical styles and expand his creative horizons.
