Steven Kopacz was born on July 24, 1984, in Wisconsin. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in music, particularly in playing the drums. As a teenager, he joined a post-hardcore band called Embraced, where he honed his skills and gained some recognition within the local music scene. In 2002, the band released an EP titled An Orchestrated Failure, which received mild success.
After his experience with Embraced, Kopacz went on to play drums for the band Don't Die Cindy. However, he soon decided to part ways with the group in pursuit of forming his own band. In 2007, he co-founded the pop rock band Go Radio, where he served as the drummer. The band quickly gained popularity and went on to release several successful albums.
Aside from his music career, Kopacz is also a successful entrepreneur. He is the proud owner of the clothing company Smooth Sailing Co., which specializes in trendy and comfortable apparel. Additionally, he established Black and Hue Cinematography, a production company that focuses on creating visually stunning content.
Despite being born in Wisconsin, Kopacz spent a significant portion of his life in Tallahassee, Florida, where Go Radio was based. He has a close-knit relationship with his family and credits them for their unwavering support throughout his career.
One of Kopacz's notable collaborations was with former Mayday Parade lead singer Jason Lancaster during their time in Go Radio. The two musicians brought their unique styles together, creating memorable performances and albums.
