Sona Movsesian was born on October 13, 1983, in Montebello, California, into an Armenian family. She attended the Armenian Mesrobian School before pursuing higher education at the University of Southern California.
After graduating from university, Sona worked as an NBC page and Events and Operations Coordinator. It was during this time that she caught the attention of TV personality Conan O'Brien and began working as his personal assistant.
Sona quickly became a familiar face on Conan's show, appearing in numerous segments and showcasing her wit and humor. She also became the co-host of O'Brien's popular podcast, Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend.
Outside of her work with Conan O'Brien, Sona has also made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. She voices the character Princess Sugar Salt on the animated series Power Players and recently published her first book, The World's Worst Assistant, in 2022.
