Sebastian Negri, a Zimbabwean-Italian professional rugby union player, was born on June 30, 1994. He discovered his passion for rugby at a young age. At just six years old, he began playing the sport that would later become his career. Negri attended Clifton Preparatory School and Hilton College, where he honed his skills on the rugby field. After completing his education in Zimbabwe, he made the decision to further pursue his rugby career.

In May of 2023, Negri got engaged to his partner, Greta Franza Durante, marking a new chapter in his personal life.
