Scott Podsednik was born on March 18, 1976, in West, Texas. He showed early promise in baseball and was drafted by the Texas Rangers straight out of West High School in 1994. Podsednik spent several years in the minor leagues honing his skills before making his major league debut in 2001 with the Seattle Mariners.
Although Podsednik played for multiple teams throughout his career, including the Milwaukee Brewers and Colorado Rockies, it was during his time with the Chicago White Sox that he truly made a name for himself.
