Samuel Jeffery was born on October 28, 1981, in Vancouver Island, Canada. Growing up, he always had a passion for travel and adventure. He attended the University of Victoria, where he earned a degree in Education.
In 2005, Samuel made the decision to move to South Korea to teach English. It was during this time that he met his future wife, Audrey, who was also teaching English abroad. The couple quickly bonded over their shared love for exploring new cultures and trying local foods.
After a few years of teaching in South Korea, Samuel decided to start a travel blog to document his adventures. In July 2011, he launched Nomadic Samuel, where he shared travel guides, tips, and personal stories from his journeys around the world.
Samuel and Audrey decided to expand their travel platform and created the Samuel and Audrey - Travel and Food Videos YouTube channel. With over 103 million views, their channel became a popular destination for city and country guides, food reviews, and adventure vlogs.
In addition to their YouTube channel, Samuel is known for curating his own list of the top 100 travel blogs on Nomadic Samuel. He has recognized other travel bloggers, including Matthew Karsten, for their inspiring content and travel insights.
Samuel continues to inspire his audience to explore the world, embrace new experiences, and connect with diverse communities. His passion for travel and storytelling has made him a respected figure in the travel blogging community.
As he and Audrey continue to share their adventures and discoveries, Samuel Jeffery remains dedicated to promoting cultural exchange and fostering a global perspective through travel.
