Samir Geagea was born on October 25, 1952 in Beirut, Lebanon. Growing up, his father, Farid, served as an adjutant in the Lebanese Army, instilling in him a sense of duty and patriotism from a young age.
Geagea began his academic journey by studying medicine at the American University of Beirut. However, his studies were interrupted by the outbreak of the Lebanese civil war.
