Robinson Faria was born on December 4, 1959, in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. Raised in a politically active family, he was exposed to the inner workings of government from a young age. In 2014, Faria achieved a major milestone in his political career when he was elected as the governor of Rio Grande do Norte. Winning with an impressive 54.42% of the vote, he was tasked with leading the state during a challenging period of economic and social change. As governor, Faria presided over a range of important debates, including those on Agribusiness, the installation of an oil refinery, and the construction of the Sao Goncalo de Amarante International Airport.
As the state president of the Party of National Mobilization, Faria plays a key role in shaping the political landscape of Rio Grande do Norte.
