Rob Ingraham, born on November 11, 1985 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, discovered his passion for music at a young age. Growing up in a musical family, he was exposed to a variety of genres and instruments from an early age. It was clear from the start that music would play a significant role in his life.
After graduating high school, Rob pursued a dual degree in music performance and psychology at Tulane University. This allowed him to hone his skills as a saxophonist while also gaining a deeper understanding of the human mind. His time at Tulane not only solidified his musical abilities but also instilled in him a sense of discipline and dedication to his craft.
While at Tulane, Rob began sitting in with The Revivalists, a New Orleans-based rock band, in 2009. His talent and passion for music quickly caught the attention of the band members, and he soon became a full-fledged member of the group. This marked the beginning of his professional music career.
In 2009, Rob had his first taste of recording with The Revivalists when they covered Jamiroquai's single "Virtual Insanity." This experience further solidified his place within the band and showcased his exceptional skills as a saxophonist. The band went on to release their third studio album, "Man Amongst Mountains," which debuted at #2 on Billboard's Alternative Albums chart in July 2015. This success catapulted The Revivalists to new heights in the music industry.
In addition to their studio albums, Rob and his bandmates recorded a live album, "Men Amongst Mountains," at the iconic Studio in the Country. This studio, frequented by legends like Stevie Wonder, provided the perfect setting for the band to showcase their electric live performances. The album captured the raw energy and talent of The Revivalists, solidifying their reputation as a must-see live act.
