Portia Woodman was born on December 12, 1991 in Auckland, New Zealand. She was raised in a family deeply rooted in the world of rugby, as her father, Kawhena Woodman, is a former All Blacks player. Growing up, Portia was exposed to the game and developed a passion for rugby at a young age.
