Pej Vahdat was born on October 4, 1982 in San Jose, California. He grew up in a loving Iranian-American household with his parents and one sister. From a young age, he showed a passion for acting and performing, often participating in school plays and local theater productions.
After graduating from high school, Pej attended San Diego State University where he pursued a degree in theater arts. While in college, he also joined the school's tennis team, showcasing his athleticism and competitive spirit.
After graduating from college, Pej moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. He landed his first major role as Arastoo Vaziri on the hit crime series Bones, which would become his breakout role. His portrayal of the intelligent and endearing forensic anthropologist quickly won over audiences, earning him a dedicated fan base.
Outside of his acting career, Pej is a private individual who values his relationships with friends and family. He has been in a long-term relationship with Narsis Attar since July 2003, and the two share a strong bond built on love and mutual respect.
