Paul Durousseau was born on November 8, 1970 in Texas. Not much is known about his childhood, but it is believed that he had a relatively normal upbringing. After graduating from high school, Durousseau decided to enlist in the U.S. Army in 1992.
After enlisting in the U.S. Army, Durousseau was stationed in Germany. It was during his time in the military that he met his future wife. The couple eventually had two daughters together. Despite appearing to have a stable family life, Durousseau's dark tendencies were beginning to surface.
Between 1997 and 2003, Durousseau raped and murdered at least seven women. He would typically gain the victim's trust before entering their home. Once inside, he would tie them up, rape them, and then strangle them. This brutal method of killing was reminiscent of another infamous serial killer, Anthony Sowell.
Durousseau's reign of terror came to an end in 2003 when he was finally apprehended by law enforcement. He was charged with the brutal murders of several women and his crimes sent shockwaves through the community. Durousseau was ultimately found guilty and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Paul Durousseau's name will forever be associated with the heinous crimes he committed. His victims and their families will never be able to forget the horrors that he inflicted upon them. While Durousseau may be behind bars, his twisted legacy continues to haunt those who were touched by his violent actions.
