Nick Groff, born on April 19, 1980 in San Jose, California, has always had a passion for the paranormal. His interest in the supernatural started at a young age and only grew as he got older.
After graduating high school, Groff went on to study film at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It was there that he met Aaron Goodwin, a fellow student with a shared interest in ghost hunting.
After college, Groff and Goodwin decided to combine their love for film and the paranormal. They started working on independent projects together, eventually leading to the creation of Ghost Adventures.
Originally conceived as a film focusing on paranormal activity in Virginia City, Nevada, Ghost Adventures quickly gained a following. The success of the film eventually led to the creation of the hit Travel Channel series of the same name.
Aside from Ghost Adventures, Groff has also worked on other projects in the entertainment industry. He produced the series Vegas Stripped and even directed the 2004 film Malevolence.
While filming Ghost Adventures, Groff shared a house in New England with his wife, Veronique. Despite the often spooky nature of his work, Groff has always been focused on his family and building a strong home life.
