Naufal Samudra was born on December 4, 1999, in Indonesia, to a German father, Michael Weichert, and an Indonesian artist mother, Lenny Ratnasari Weichert. From a young age, Naufal showed a passion for music, which would eventually become his life's calling.
Naufal attended German International schools where he focused on his studies in music. After completing his schooling, he decided to further his guitar skills at the prestigious Institut Seni Indonesia.
Naufal's music career took off when he released his first EP, Dia, in 2015. As a singer and songwriter, he not only plays the guitar and drums but also writes and sings his own songs. His unique sound and heartfelt lyrics quickly gained him a loyal following both in Indonesia and abroad.
Naufal is known for his multilingual abilities, fluently speaking both German and Indonesian. In addition to his musical talents, he also gained attention in the media when he began dating Tiara Savitri, the daughter of Indonesian rock star Ahmad Dhani.
