Early Life

Natalie Mejia was born on July 5, 1988 in West Covina, California to a family of Cuban and Mexican heritage. Growing up in Diamond Bar, she discovered her passion for music and performance at a young age.

Beginnings in Music

Before finding fame as a member of Girlicious, Natalie honed her skills at California's Millennium Dance Complex and graduated from Diamond Ranch High School. She also gained experience performing with local bands such as Cherri and Breathe between 2001 and 2007.

Rise to Fame

In 2008, Natalie's life changed when she became a part of Girlicious, an all-female pop group formed after winning a TV talent competition called Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. She joined Chrystina Sayers, Nichole Cordova, and Tiffanie Anderson in the band, recording two albums with them: Girlicious in 2008 and Rebuilt in 2010.

Mejia Sisters

Aside from her work with Girlicious, Natalie, along with her siblings Taylor and Jazzy, formed the Mejia Sisters and released a single titled "Stray" in 2014 on iTunes.

Personal Life

In May 2013, Natalie welcomed her daughter, Calista Estrella, with her husband Johnny Roberts. Despite the demands of motherhood, Natalie continued to pursue her passion for music and performance.

Post-Girlicious Career

Following her time with Girlicious, Natalie was chosen to be a part of the new lineup of the Pussycat Dolls, a band affiliated with the group she had previously been a part of. However, Emmalyn Estrada ultimately replaced her in the girl group.
