Mitchell Robinson, born on January 4, 1998 in Pensacola, Florida, showed promise in basketball from a young age. He spent his high school years honing his skills at various schools, including Pine Forest High School and Landry-Walker College and Career Preparatory High School in New Orleans. Robinson made a name for himself leading Chalmette High School to their first state playoff win in 19 years during his junior year.
