Misha Collins, born on August 20, 1974 in Boston, Massachusetts, is an American actor best known for his role as Castiel on the CWTV series Supernatural.
Collins studied social theory at the University of Chicago after interning at the White House during President Bill Clinton's administration. It was during his time at the university that he discovered his passion for acting.
