Michael Simeon was born on September 20, 1993, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was the youngest of three children born to Mason and Linda Smith. His mother worked as a show choir director, which instilled in him a love for music from a young age.
Even before he turned 10 years old, Michael would entertain his family with humorous original songs that he made up on the spot. He received his first guitar when he was just 7 years old, and by the time he was 9, he was begging his parents for a real guitar so he could start learning to play.
