Mel Lisboa was born on January 17, 1982, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Growing up, she was drawn to the world of performing arts and decided to pursue a career in acting. After completing her primary education, Mel enrolled at Fluminense Federal University in Niterói, where she studied film. It was during her time at university that she discovered her love for acting and made her debut on the miniseries Presença de Anita in 2001.
