Matteo Lane was born on June 28, 1986, in the United States. Growing up, he developed a passion for music and began singing opera at the young age of 15. He later pursued his artistic interests by attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he studied oil painting and drawing.
After starting his comedy career at open mics in Chicago, Lane's talent was quickly recognized, leading to opportunities like being featured in "New Faces" at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in 2014. He went on to co-host a podcast called Inside the Closet with Emma Willmann and was also featured in Netflix's The Comedy Lineup.
