Matt Gilroy, born on July 30, 1984, in New York, is a professional ice hockey player who has made a name for himself in the NHL. He comes from a family of four brothers, including Frank Jr., Kevin, and Timmy. Growing up, Gilroy showed promise as an athlete and honed his skills playing for the Walpole Jr. Stars in the Eastern Junior Hockey League.
