Matthew Patrick, better known as MatPat, was born on November 15, 1986, as an only child in Medina, Ohio. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in entertainment and the performing arts.
After completing his high school education, MatPat went on to attend college where he graduated in 2009. Following his graduation, he decided to pursue his passion for acting and auditioned for various theatrical roles in New York.
MatPat's journey to fame began when he created and produced the YouTube channel The Game Theorists in 2011. The channel quickly gained popularity for its in-depth analysis of video games and the science behind them.
