Massimo Capra was born on May 24th, 1960 in a small village in northern Italy. He grew up on a dairy farm, where he developed a love for fresh, local ingredients and traditional Italian cooking. From a young age, he was exposed to the culinary world through his family's farm-to-table lifestyle.
At the age of 15, Capra started working in a local restaurant, where he learned the basics of cooking by cleaning scallops and preparing vegetables. He quickly realized his passion for food and decided to pursue a career in the culinary arts. After completing his education at a culinary school in Italy, he gained experience working as a hotel chef before making the bold decision to move to Toronto.
Upon arriving in Toronto, Capra wasted no time in making a name for himself in the culinary scene.
