In 1990, Mark made the decision to move to California to further pursue his passion for surfing and skateboarding. It was there that he began working as a photographer and artist for various companies, including Quiksilver. Despite his success in the commercial world, Mark never strayed far from his roots in the action sports community, always staying true to his love for surfing and skateboarding.
