Each book in the series is based on a different fairy tale, with 'Cinder' drawing inspiration from Cinderella, 'Scarlet' from Little Red Riding Hood, and so on.
Outside of her writing career, Meyer is a devoted wife to her husband, Jesse Taylor. The couple shares a love for travel and adventure, often exploring new places together in their free time.
