After completing her training, Manuela, now known as Lita Marez or the Latin Hellcat, began her wrestling career with a sense of determination and passion. She quickly gained recognition for her signature moves, The Rocker and The Boston Crab, dazzling audiences with her skill and athleticism.
On February 22, 1967, Manuela made history along with five other professional female wrestlers by participating in the first ever Battle Royal at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.
