After graduating high school, Lucas applied to several art schools in Mexico but unfortunately was not accepted. Despite this setback, he remained determined to pursue his passion for art. In 2010, he found the inspiration that would shape his artistic style and vision, leading him to create the darkly-inspired portraits for which he would become known.
Lucas David gained recognition as an artist through his Instagram account, where he shared his striking portraits of models and musicians with the public. His unique and captivating style quickly garnered him a large following of over 150,000 followers. In 2015, he held his first art show in Los Angeles, California, titled "People Are Weird," showcasing his thought-provoking and innovative work to a wider audience.
