He was known for his ability to sign and syndicate some of the biggest names in talk radio, including Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, solidifying Clear Channel Communications' position as a major player in the media industry.
Outside of his professional success, Mays was also a devoted family man. He had four children and 16 grandchildren with his longtime wife, Peggy Mays. Despite his busy schedule and demanding career, Mays always made time for his family, prioritizing their happiness and well-being above all else.
