Logan Thomas was born on January 7, 1991 in Lynchburg, Virginia. Growing up in Lynchburg, he developed a love for sports at a young age. He attended Brookville High School in Campbell County, Virginia, where he excelled as a multi-sport athlete.
At Brookville High School, Thomas played quarterback, defensive back, and wide receiver for the football team. He was known for his versatility on the field, as well as his speed and agility. In addition to football, Thomas was also a standout track and field athlete, showcasing his athletic abilities in multiple sports.
After high school, Thomas committed to play football at Virginia Tech. He began his college career as a backup quarterback, but quickly earned the starting role during his sophomore year. In his first season as a starter, Thomas threw for over 3,000 yards and 19 touchdowns, while also showcasing his ability as a dual-threat quarterback with nearly 500 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns.
Selected in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals, Thomas began his professional career as a quarterback. He spent time with several NFL teams, including the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills, before finding a home with the Washington Football Team.
