Levine Toilolo was born on July 30, 1991, in San Diego, California. He was raised in La Mesa, where he attended Helix High School. It was during his time at Helix that Toilolo discovered his passion for football and began playing for the Helix Highlanders.
After graduating from high school, Toilolo went on to attend Stanford University. During his four years at Stanford, he excelled both on and off the field. In 2013, he entered the NFL Draft and was selected in the fourth round by the Atlanta Falcons.
