Leo Štulac was born on September 26, 1994, in Koper, Slovenia. He grew up in the Koper area with his family, where he discovered his passion for soccer at a young age. As a child, he showed great talent and dedication to the sport, which led him to join the Koper youth club.
At the age of 16, Štulac joined the Koper Football Club and made his debut against Maribor. His skills and commitment on the field caught the attention of many, and he quickly made a name for himself as a promising talent in Slovenian football.
