LeLe XO, born Amanda Nicole McCauley on April 11, 1993, in Grosse Pointe, MI, to James and Christine McCauley. Her father, James, was a captain of the University of Michigan hockey team from 1980 to 1984. Growing up, LeLe was exposed to music from a young age, with a love for pop and R&B developing early on.
In 2013, LeLe embarked on her music career under the stage name LeLe. She caught the attention of JOTU Collective in 2017, signing with them to further her career. In 2016, she made the decision to rebrand herself as LeLe XO, symbolizing a new chapter in her musical journey.
LeLe XO achieved recognition with her 2018 album, "Aura Season," which made waves on the charts. The album reached #33 on the iTunes Alternative Charts and #11 on the iTunes Alternative Charts in France, solidifying her position in the alternative pop and R&B scene. She also received critical acclaim for her track "All I See is Blue," winning an Akademia Music Award for Best R&B/Soul Song.
