Lee Zii Jia, a Malaysian badminton player, was born on March 28, 1998, in Alor Setar, Malaysia. He comes from a family with a strong sporting background. His parents, Lee Chee Hin and Leow Siet Peng, were both teachers and international basketball players. It was clear from a young age that Lee Zii Jia had inherited his parents' athletic genes.
