Richard Franke, known by her drag persona Kitty Powers, was born on June 10, 1981 in Guildford, Surrey, England. From a young age, she had a passion for video games and knew that she wanted to work in the gaming industry.
Kitty Powers began her career in the video game industry in 2001, working on the game Startopia. She quickly made a name for herself with her innovative gameplay ideas and attention to detail. She went on to work on several other successful games, including the Burnout series, BLACK, and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.
In 2014, Kitty Powers founded her own independent video game company, Magic Notion. It was here that she developed and launched her most well-known game, Kitty Powers' Matchmaker. The game, which allows players to run their own matchmaking agency, was a huge success and cemented Kitty Powers' reputation as a talented game designer.
After the success of Kitty Powers' Matchmaker, Kitty Powers joined Media Molecule, the studio behind games like Tearaway Unfolded. In her role as an artist, she continued to push boundaries and create unique gaming experiences.
Outside of her work in the video game industry, Kitty Powers is known for her drag persona and her appearances at events like RuPaul's DragCon. Despite her larger-than-life personality on screen, Kitty Powers remains down-to-earth and humble in her personal life.
