Kiira Harper was born on April 9, 1989 in Los Angeles, California. At the age of 7, her father enrolled her in dance classes, sparking her passion for dancing. When she was a teenager, her family moved from Los Angeles to Long Island, New York, where she continued to pursue her love for dance.
After completing her high school education, Kiira went on to attend Hampton University, graduating in 2011 with a degree in public relations and communications. During her time at Hampton, she was a member of the Terpsichorean Dance Company team, honing her skills as a dancer while also pursuing her academic interests.
In 2013, Kiira Harper's career as a professional dancer took off when she had the opportunity to dance alongside Beyoncé during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show. This experience opened doors for her in the entertainment industry and allowed her to showcase her talent on a global stage.
Since her debut with Beyoncé, Kiira has built an impressive resume as a dancer, working with some of the biggest names in the music industry.
