Kiiara, whose real name is Kiara Saulters, was born on May 24, 1995, in Wilmington, Illinois. She discovered her love for music at a young age and began singing and writing songs in her teenage years. Despite her passion for music, she also excelled in sports and played volleyball throughout high school.
Before rising to fame, Kiiara worked as a hardware store clerk while pursuing her music career. She began recording what would eventually become her breakthrough EP, "low kii savage." Prior to adopting the stage name Kiiara, she released a single titled "Bring Me Back."
In 2015, Kiiara signed with Atlantic Records and released her hit single "Gold." The song quickly gained popularity and was certified platinum. It was even featured in an Apple Watch commercial, further propelling Kiiara into the spotlight. Following the success of "Gold," she released another single titled "Feels," which was later remixed by Jai Wolf.
