Karl Berglind was born on December 15, 1999, in Sweden. At a young age, his family relocated to the United States, specifically Los Angeles. Growing up in sunny California, Berglind quickly developed a passion for skateboarding. He spent his childhood exploring the skate parks of various beach communities such as Oceanside, Huntington Beach, and Venice.
Berglind first caught the attention of the skateboarding world in 2013 when he posted his inaugural Instagram picture. As he continued to hone his skills on the board, he participated in several competitions, making a name for himself on the circuit that stretched from Los Angeles to Oceanside and even as far as China.
One of Berglind's major breakthroughs came when he started competing in the prestigious Vans Park Series. His fearless and technical style quickly garnered him recognition within the industry. This led to his sponsorship by Welcome skateboards, a renowned brand in the skateboarding community.
In November 2017, Berglind's talent was showcased in the pages of Thrasher Magazine. A full-page print advertisement for Welcome skateboards featuring Berglind was featured, solidifying his status as a rising star in the skateboarding world.
Despite his Swedish roots, Berglind considers California his true home. His upbringing in the vibrant and diverse communities of Los Angeles and its surrounding beach areas have greatly influenced his skateboarding style and persona. Whether he's shredding the streets of Venice or hitting the ramps in Huntington Beach, Berglind feels a deep connection to the skate culture of Southern California.
Aside from skateboarding, Berglind also shares a love for music. He once shared a video of himself attending a concert featuring Issa Gold and AK, showcasing his appreciation for different forms of art and expression.
