Kaitlan Collins was born on July 4, 1992 in Alabama. She grew up in Prattville, Alabama where she attended Prattville High School. It was during her time in high school that she discovered her passion for journalism. After graduating high school, Collins went on to pursue a double major in journalism and political science at the University of Alabama.
After completing her education, Kaitlan Collins began her career as a journalist. She quickly rose through the ranks, eventually landing a position as a White House correspondent for CNN and later for The Daily Caller. Collins' hard work and dedication to her craft did not go unnoticed, as she was named one of the 50 most influential people in news media by Mediaite in 2018. The following year, she was honored as one of Forbes' 30 under 30.
During her time as a White House correspondent, Kaitlan Collins found herself at the center of controversy. In a bold move, she asked then-President Donald Trump about his dealings with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a press conference. This question led to Collins being barred from attending future White House press conferences.
Despite the challenges she faced in her career, Kaitlan Collins remains close to her family. She has a sister and a brother who have always supported her in her journalistic endeavors. Collins' dedication to her work has not gone unnoticed, but it has also led to some reprimands from White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
