Justin Chu Cary was born on September 19, 1982 in Oakland, California. He was raised in Berkeley, California as the oldest son of an African American father and a Chinese American mother. From a young age, Justin showed a passion for the arts and athletics.
He attended UC Davis, where he excelled both academically and athletically. Justin was a member of the track and field team, participating in events such as the 800M and 4x400M relays. He ultimately graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a double minor in Theater and Visual Arts.
After completing his education, Justin pursued a career in graphic design and comic book artistry. He used his creativity and visual talents to bring characters and stories to life through his work. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Justin also delved into the world of acting.
Justin landed his breakout role as Spears in the 2019 Netflix series Black Summer. His compelling performance and on-screen presence captivated audiences and showcased his acting abilities.
