JT Chargois was born on March 12, 1990, in Sulphur, Louisiana. He grew up in a loving household with his parents, Von and Rhonda Chargois, along with his two siblings. He attended Sulphur High School, where his passion for baseball first began to flourish. After graduating, he decided to further his education and baseball career by enrolling at Rice University.
Chargois' talent on the baseball field was undeniable, leading to him being drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the second round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He quickly rose through the ranks of the minor leagues, showcasing his impressive pitching skills along the way.
